A laboratory dedicated to performance
Selectarc has a dedicated R&D laboratory for welding and brazing, equipped with the testing and measurement equipment needed for custom trials and product development to meet our clients’ specifications.
Our laboratory is integrated into our Grandvillars (90) plant, a center of excellence in welding.

Our expertise covers both custom product development, with the creation of specific filler metal formulations guaranteeing the required operational and mechanical performance, and the conduct of rigorous tests and trials, ensuring the quality and compliance of our products:
- Chemical and metallurgical analyses: deposited metal composition
- Mechanical tests: tensile, bend, and impact bending
- Macrography and micrography
- Hardness measurements (Brinell, Vickers, Rockwell)
- Validations and certifications: certified analyses CCPU 3.1 and 3.2 (EN 10204), RCCM compliance
