Selectarc is committed to protecting personal data. Users may browse the various websites published by Selectarc without providing personal data. However, processing of personal data may be necessary to respond to users’ requests. This privacy policy is intended to explain how Selectarc collects, manages and processes personal data on the website “Selectarc.com”.
Personal data is always processed in accordance with the laws and regulations in force, in particular the European Regulation of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data (the “GDPR”) and Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on data processing, files and freedoms, as amended (the “Data Protection Act”).

1. Personal data collected

Users’ personal data may be collected through various channels when users browse the Sites, but also when they exchange emails or phone calls with our teams, or when they create an account on the recruitment platform or the purchasing portal.
In this context, Selectarc may collect various personal data:

  • An email address
  • First and last names
  • IP address
  • CV for recruitment purposes
  • Phone number

The data thus collected always comes from voluntary submission by users, except for the IP address, which is recorded automatically.
Selectarc may also provide aggregate statistics concerning users of the Sites. These statistics will not contain any information that could identify users.


2. Purposes and legal bases

In general, the data collected enables the proper functioning of the websites.

Selectarc collects personal data for several purposes:

  • Responding to questions and requests
  • Managing recruitment
  • Managing customer relationships

The legal bases for processing are therefore as follows:

  • Performance of a contract in the context of the customer relationship or pre-contractual measures taken at the customer’s request
  • Selectarc’s legitimate interest in managing recruitment when the user creates an account on the recruitment platform and applies for a job posting online

3. Data recipients

The recipient of the user’s personal data is Selectarc.
Thus, data collected through contact email addresses is intended for the persons responsible for processing information within Selectarc.
Data collected in connection with responses to job offers is intended for the persons responsible for recruitment at Selectarc.
In general, data collected by Selectarc on the Sites is for strictly internal use and is not subject to any form of communication, transfer or disclosure to third parties, except with the express written authorisation of the user concerned and except where required by law or court order.


4. Retention periods

Selectarc retains users’ personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose of processing. Thus, data provided when the user contacts Selectarc is kept for 5 years after the last contact. Recruitment data is kept for 1 year after the last contact with the candidate. Browsing data is kept for 5 years and data relating to audience measurement is kept for 5 years.

However, exceptionally, the retention period may be longer if required by the regulatory framework (see processing register).


5. Users’ rights

In accordance with the GDPR and the Data Protection Act, users of the website have several rights regarding their personal data, which they may exercise in writing, specifying their last name, first name and email address, at the following addresses:

For data provided for the purpose of responding to a job offer, internship or unsolicited application, users may exercise their rights by email at delegue-donnees-personnelles@selectarc.com

5.1. Right of access

Users have the right to access their data. In this context, they may obtain from Selectarc confirmation that it processes their personal data, a copy of it, as well as all of the following information:

  • The purposes of the processing
  • The categories of data concerned
  • The retention period for such data
  • The rights they have over their data
  • The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

5.2. Right to rectification

Users have the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.

5.3. Right to erasure

Users may request the erasure of their data. However, this right may be limited in the following cases:

  • Exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information;
  • Compliance with a legal obligation
  • Use of the data where it concerns a matter of public interest in the area of public health;
  • Use of the data for archiving purposes in the public interest, for scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes;
  • Establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

5.4. Right to restriction of processing

Users may request restriction of the processing concerning them where:

  • The accuracy of the data is contested and the controller is verifying its accuracy,
  • The processing is unlawful and the user wishes to restrict the use of their data rather than erase it,
  • The controller no longer needs the data, but it is still required by the user to establish, exercise or defend legal claims,
  • The user has objected to the processing of their data and the controller must verify their request.

5.5. Right to data portability

Users may request to receive all data concerning them in a machine-readable format, or to have it sent to another controller. They may exercise this right directly by email at: delegue-donnees-personnelles@selectarc.com or via the website contact page.

5.6. Right to object

Users may object to the processing of their data, on grounds relating to their particular situation.

6. Third-party sites

The “Selectarc.com” website may allow users to access third-party sites such as partner sites and, in particular, to access Selectarc’s page on social networks such as:

  • LinkedIn
  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • YouTube

It also allows you to share certain content on the social networks mentioned above.
Users are informed that if they access social networks through these links or partner sites, Selectarc is not responsible for the management of personal data.

Framatome acquires a stake in Selectarc

June 11, 2025 – Framatome announces the acquisition of a 40% stake in Selectarc, alongside its majority stakeholder, Viellard Migeon & Compagnie.

This partnership will secure the supply of strategic filler metals, essential in the manufacturing of components of the primary circuit of the French nuclear reactors.
