Selectarc Ni690

The Selectarc Ni690 is a nickel-based basic coated electrode designed for welding and repairing nickel alloys 690 and 600, as well as for dissimilar joints between stainless steels and carbon steels. Compliant with AWS A5.11 ENiCrFe-7 and ISO 14172 E Ni 6152 (NiCr30Fe9Nb) standards, it offers very high corrosion resistance in aqueous and oxidising environments. This electrode is also suitable for surfacing low-alloy and stainless steels. Its deposited metal exhibits excellent mechanical properties, whilst its stable arc, easily detachable slag and consistent weld beads facilitate welding operations. Particularly recommended for nuclear power stations, the chemical industry and equipment exposed to severely corrosive environments, Ni690 guarantees reliable and durable joints.
