Selectarc MIG FENI36
This product is a solid wire filling a Ferro-Nickel alloy specifically designed for Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) of materials with very low thermal expansion, such as Invar. It’s commonly utilized in applications requiring high precision and stability. The material exhibits a composition of approximately 0.01% C, 0.10% Si, 0.30% Mn, 36.0% Ni, 0.010% C, 0.010% C and a residual content of iron. It’s crucial to consult the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for detailed fume information.
The MIG FENI36 wire is primarily used for welding composite molds and cladding natural gas tanks. It’s suitable for GMAW processes involving alloys with low thermal expansion. Optimal welding parameters, including current, voltage, shielding gas flow rate, and gas composition, should be determined based on the specific application and consulted with the manufacturer’s recommendations. Please refer to ISO 14175 standards I1 (100% Ar), I3 (Ar+10-30%He), and Z (Ar+He+H+CO2) for guidance.
