Selectarc MIG 18/15

This solid wire is specifically designed for Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) of low carbon stainless steels. It contains approximately 3.5% Molybdenum (Mo) to enhance corrosion resistance, particularly against crevice and pitting corrosion in chloride environments. The wire is suitable for welding and cladding applications on austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo stainless steels and clad plates, offering robust protection against corrosion in demanding environments.

This wire is ideal for use in chemical and petrochemical industries, refineries, food processing, and shipbuilding. It’s commonly employed for welding pipes, tanks, and other structural components. The product is compatible with various base materials, including S31603, S31653, S31700, S31703, and is recommended for applications where corrosion resistance is critical.
