Selectarc UP NI625
This solid wire is specifically designed for submerged arc welding of high nickel alloys and special austenitic stainless steels. It offers excellent resistance against pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking, particularly in chloride environments. Its high temperature resistance also makes it suitable for welding 9% Ni steels, commonly used in equipment facing oxidizing and corrosive conditions. The wire’s composition is precisely controlled to ensure optimal welding performance.
This wire is primarily used in the construction of equipment exposed to harsh environments, including those subject to oxidizing and corrosive attacks. It’s particularly well-suited for welding base metals such as K81340 (9% Ni), X8Ni9 (1.5662), N06625 (625 NiCr22Mo9Nb), N08825 (825 NiCr21Mo), N08904 (904L X1NiCrMoCuN25), and N08926 (254SMo X1NiCrMoCuN25). Welding parameters (current, voltage, speed, and flux) are provided for optimal results with various flux types, including UP WP380M, UP Ni01, UP Ni682, FT En-SNI02-161114, and others.
