Selectarc TIG NI59
This nickel alloy, designated TIG NI59, is a specialized welding wire formulated for GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding). It boasts a high chromium and molybdenum content, resulting in exceptional corrosion resistance. It’s particularly well-suited for cladding carbon steels and welding other highly corrosion-resistant nickel alloys, including C-276, C-22, and alloy 59. Its applications span various demanding environments, including de-pollution tasks (absorbers, chimneys), exposure to seawater, and fertiliser applications, and flue gas desulphurisation.
This TIG NI59 wire is primarily used for GTAW welding in applications requiring significant corrosion resistance. Ideal for cladding carbon steels, and welding highly resistant nickel alloys like C-276, C-22, and alloy 59. Suitable for use in de-pollution systems, marine environments, and chemical processing, specifically for flue gas desulphurization.
