This ER420 rod is a high carbon solid rod designed for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) applications. Specifically formulated for hardfacing stainless steels containing 13% Chromium, it’s engineered to withstand corrosion in aggressive environments, including atmospheric, water, and steam. Suitable for service temperatures up to 450°C. It offers robust protection against wear and tear, making it ideal for demanding applications.
