Selectarc TIG F81

This ER80S-Ni1 electrode is a copper-coated solid rod formulated for use in GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) of fine grain steels and cold tough steels, particularly at low service temperatures. It features a low alloy composition with 1% Nickel, enhancing its impact strength down to -60°C, making it suitable for applications requiring robustness in cold environments. It complies with AWS A5.28 and ISO 636-A standards.

Specifically designed for welding liquid gas distribution pipes, tanks, offshore structures, and petrochemical equipment. This electrode is commonly used with fine grain steels, cold tough steels, and specific grades as listed in EN S275 A 131 gr A, B, D, E; S355 A 333 gr 6; S420 A 334 gr 6; L290, L290 G A A 350 gr LF2, LF5; L360, L360G A API 5LX42, 46, 52, 60, 65; and L415.
