This TIG rod is primarily used for welding root passes in applications involving low alloy construction steels, boiler steels, tube steels, and ship steels. It’s ideal for achieving high-quality welds requiring precise control, such as in piping systems. Typical applications include welding EN and ASTM steel grades, as well as P235-P355 and L210 steels. Welding parameters include TIG mode with shielding gas (Ar or Nitrogen) at specific flow rates, and appropriate back shielding techniques.
