Selectarc TIG CUAG

This solid rod is specifically designed for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) of oxygen-free copper and copper alloys. It offers high electrical conductivity, making it ideal for applications requiring precise and efficient electrical transmission. The rod boasts a composition of approximately 99.5% Copper and Copper alloys, along with controlled additions of Aluminum, Iron, Manganese, Nickel, Cobalt, Phosphorus, Lead, Silicon, Arsenic, and Silver, to achieve optimal performance.

The TIG CUAG rod is primarily utilized as an electrical conductor within GTAW applications. Its high electrical conductivity makes it suitable for various applications, including electrical wiring, connections, and components where reliable current flow is critical. It’s also recommended for preheating heavy parts to enhance weldability.
