Selectarc TIG CUA8NI

This solid rod is specifically designed for GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) of Copper-Aluminium alloys with a composition similar to CuAl8Ni2Fe2Mn2. It’s a robust material commonly employed for welding and repairing pumps and piping systems used in seawater applications, alongside its frequent use in anti-wear surfacing.

Primarily used for GTAW welding of Copper-Aluminium alloys, particularly in demanding applications such as the repair and maintenance of seawater pumps and piping systems. Also suitable for anti-wear surfacing applications. Requires preheating of large parts (over 6mm) up to 500°C, and utilizes various shielding gases according to welding current requirements.
