Selectarc TIG CO1

This cobalt-based solid rod is specifically designed for TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) or oxyfuel hardfacing applications. It offers excellent resistance to metal-on-metal wear and corrosion, maintaining its performance up to 800°C. Its low coefficient of friction and high resistance to erosion and cavitation make it suitable for demanding environments. This product is based on AWS A5.21, EN 14700 and DIN 8555 standards.

Ideal for hardfacing rollers, rails, bearings, shafts, pump components, extrusion nozzles, hot-cutting tools, and conveyor screws. Preheat parts or special steels to 300-600°C during welding, and cool down slowly, preferably in an oven, to minimize the risk of cracking. For oxyfuel hardfacing, use a reducing flame. Specific welding parameters, including shielding gas flow rate, are recommended for optimal results.
