This solid rod is specifically designed for GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) of aluminium-silicon alloys containing up to 7% silicon. It’s a versatile welding filler material suitable for a wide range of aluminium alloys including 6060, 6061, 6063, 6070, 6071, and 6351. It’s commonly utilized in foundry repairs, and due to its robustness, it also finds applications in demanding industries such as space, nuclear plants, and armament.

This product is primarily used for GTAW welding of aluminium-silicon alloys in a variety of applications, particularly in foundry repair and in sectors requiring high-performance materials. It is suitable for AC (~) welding with shielding gases like Ar and He mixtures, and is often employed at welding currents ranging from 5 to 10 L/min.
