Selectarc TIG ALG4M

This solid rod is specifically designed for GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) of Aluminium-Magnesium alloys with similar compositions. It boasts superior mechanical resistance compared to standard AlMg5 grades, thanks to the addition of Manganese (0.7%). It’s ideal for applications requiring robust welding performance.

This product is primarily utilized in shipbuilding, wagon building, and the manufacturing of tanks and trailers. It’s suitable for welding with alloys like DIN 5083 AlMg4.5Mn, 5086 AlMg4Mn, 5454 AlMg3Mn, and 5754 AlMg3. Welding parameters (current, shielding gas flow) are specified in the FT En-TL06-030719 document.
