Selectarc TIG ALG3

Solid aluminium-magnesium alloy rod specifically designed for GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) applications. This rod, designated ER5754, offers excellent resistance to salt water corrosion and is suitable for a range of welding projects. It’s based on the AlMg3 alloy and is certified to AWS 5.10 and ISO 18273 standards.

Primarily used in shipbuilding and shipyard installations due to its corrosion resistance. Suitable for welding aluminium-magnesium alloys with up to 3% magnesium or heterogeneous assemblies. Commonly used with a GTAW process and shielding gases such as Argon with Helium addition (I1 and I3 as per ISO 14175).
