Selectarc TIG AL99.7

This solid rod is specifically designed for GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) of pure aluminum and aluminum alloys with similar compositions. It is renowned for its excellent electrical conductivity and its high resistance to corrosion, making it a preferred choice for applications in the food industry, boiler manufacturing, and the chemical sector. The product adheres to AWS A5.10, ISO 18273 and S Al 1070 specifications.

Suitable for GTAW welding of aluminum and aluminum alloys in demanding environments such as food processing, boiler construction, and chemical applications. Commonly used with shielding gases like Argon or Argon mixed with Helium. Welding current ranges from 5 to 10 L/min, following the ISO 14175 standard.
