Selectarc TIG 24/12M

This is a low carbon solid rod specifically designed for GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) of stainless steels with similar chemical compositions to 309LMo, 309, and 309L. It’s particularly well-suited for welding dissimilar steel combinations, including low alloy steels and ferritic stainless steels like 430 and martensitic stainless steel 410. The addition of molybdenum enhances corrosion resistance against acids. High ferrite content minimizes the risk of cracking during welding, while a high silicon content improves alloy fluidity. This product is commonly utilized in boiler making, civil engineering projects, and various maintenance and repair applications.
