Selectarc TBM 12 NCs 20

The TBM 12NCs 20 is a composite brazing wire specifically designed for high-strength brazing of sheet, forged, or cast aluminium parts. This wire comprises a homogenous mixture of aluminium alloy and a non-corrosive flux, maintaining an 86:14 alloy to flux ratio. It’s suitable for brazing aluminium and low aluminium alloys with a solidus temperature of ≥630°C. The wire is adaptable for use with torch, induction, and furnace brazing methods. It offers excellent capillary action, good corrosion resistance and eliminates the need for additional flux application. Its robust composition guarantees high ductility and penetration.

This TBM 12NCs 20 brazing wire is ideal for repairing aluminium parts, assembling aluminium connectors, constructing heat exchangers, supporting air conditioning and refrigeration systems, connecting aluminium pipes, producing radiators, and being employed in automotive applications. It is particularly recommended for magnesium-bearing aluminium alloys (Mg<1.20%) and for joining aluminium to copper. Its versatile properties enable it to be used in a wide range of aluminium welding and brazing tasks.
