Selectarc MIG NI625
This solid MIG wire is specifically designed for Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) of high-nickel alloys such as Inconel 625 and special austenitic stainless steels. It offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking, particularly in environments containing chlorides. The wire is suitable for use at low temperatures and can be employed for heterogeneous assembly between various steel grades, including C-Mn, low alloy steels, and stainless steels or nickel alloys. It’s a robust solution for demanding applications requiring high corrosion and temperature resistance.
This wire is ideal for constructing equipment exposed to oxidizing and corrosive attacks, commonly found in cryogenic, chemical, petrochemical, and aeronautic industries. It can be used for a variety of welding applications, including joining components of cryogenic equipment, fabricating chemical process vessels, constructing aircraft parts, and performing heterogeneous welds between dissimilar metals. Specific GMAW parameters, including shielding gas flow rates and current/voltage ranges, are provided for optimal performance.
