Selectarc MIG NI22

This nickel alloy, designated MIG NI22, is a high-performance welding wire formulated with a significant chromium and molybdenum content. It’s specifically designed for Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) applications, offering exceptional corrosion resistance. It’s highly recommended for welding materials like C-276, C-22, and other highly corrosion-resistant nickel alloys and special stainless steels. Its versatility makes it suitable for use in demanding environments, including de-pollution applications (absorbers, chimneys) and in marine and fertilizer industries, particularly during flue gas desulphurisation.

This MIG NI22 wire is ideal for applications requiring superior corrosion resistance, such as welding in challenging environments like marine, chemical processing (fertilizers), and flue gas desulphurization systems. It’s frequently used with C-276, C-22, and other high-alloy stainless steels. Typical welding parameters include a shielding gas flow rate of 15-20 l/min, and current ranges of 70-180A, 80-220A, 150-320A and 220-380A, depending on the specific application and material being welded.
