Selectarc MIG F81
This low-alloy solid wire, containing 1% Nickel, is specifically designed for gas metal arc welding (GMAW) of fine grain steels and cold tough steels at low service temperatures. It provides excellent impact strength, particularly at temperatures down to -60°C, making it suitable for demanding applications. This wire is characterized by its robust composition and its ability to produce welds in fine grain steels, offering reliable performance in challenging environments. The MIG F81 wire is primarily used for the welding of fine grain steels and cold tough steels, particularly in environments where low service temperatures are prevalent. Key applications include the fabrication of liquid gas distribution pipes, storage tanks, offshore structures and in the petro-chemical industry. It’s suitable for applications requiring high impact resistance at low temperatures. This wire is ideally suited for welding materials such as S275 A 131 gr A, B, D, E, S355 A 333 gr 6, S420 A 334 gr 6, L290, L290 G, L360, L360G, and L415.
