Selectarc MIG F77

This low-alloy solid wire, copper-coated and enriched with Nickel and Molybdenum, is designed for gas metal arc welding (GMAW) of high-strength steels (Rm > 700MPa). It offers excellent impact strength even at low temperatures down to -50°C. It is suitable for demanding applications requiring robust welding performance.

The MIG F77 wire is primarily used in the chemical and petrochemical industries, in offshore fabrication, for the construction of industrial machinery and cranes. Due to its low-temperature impact resistance, it’s particularly suitable for applications where welds may be exposed to cold environments. The recommended shielding gas mixture is ISO 14175: M21 (Ar/CO2) with a flow rate of 12-18 l/min. Preheating and interpass temperatures should be maintained between 135-165°C.
