Selectarc MIG F57

This is a copper-coated solid wire specifically designed for gas metal arc welding (GMAW) applications. It’s formulated for use with various shielding gases, including argon mixed with carbon dioxide (Ar + CO2) or 100% carbon dioxide (CO2). The wire is suitable for welding low alloyed standard construction steels and boiler steels, such as E36 (S235-S355; P235-P310), and is known for its good mechanical properties. It’s often recommended for use in piping systems, particularly for root passes and high-quality assemblies. The wire exhibits a copper coating, which enhances weldability and surface appearance. This copper-coated solid wire is primarily used for GMAW applications involving low alloy construction steels and boiler steels. It’s particularly well-suited for root passes, high-quality assemblies, and piping systems, offering good mechanical properties and weldability. It’s recommended for steels like E36 (S235-S355; P235-P310), EN Ship steels (ASTM S185 – S355 Quality A and B A285 grade C, P235 – P355 A442 grade 55, 60, L210 – L360 A414 grade C, D, E, F, A515 grade 55, 60, 65). Welding parameters (current and voltage) are tailored to the specific shielding gas (M21 – Ar + CO2) and application.
