Selectarc MIG CO12
This solid wire is a cobalt-based alloy designed for GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) harfacing applications. It offers excellent resistance to abrasion from metals and minerals, along with corrosion and high temperatures up to 800°C, even under moderate shocks and erosion. It’s particularly recommended when maintaining high hardness is crucial, especially for deposits subjected to temperature, corrosion, abrasion, and impact. The wire is specifically formulated for hardfacing tools used in demanding environments, such as plastic processing, woodworking, and paper cutting.
This wire is ideal for hardfacing tools used in applications involving plastic processing (e.g., extrusion screws), wood and paper cutting (carton and paper), pressing tools, hot cut tools, hot shear blades. Its robust properties make it suitable for environments where high hardness is required and where the deposit is exposed to conditions like temperature, corrosion, abrasion and impact.
