Selectarc MIG ALS12
This solid wire is specifically designed for Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) of Aluminium-Silicium alloys. It boasts a silicon content ranging from 7% to 12%, offering characteristics remarkably similar to a eutectic brazing product (570-585°C), resulting in excellent flowing and wetting properties. It’s commonly used for repairing foundry pieces and addressing uncertainties regarding aluminium alloy compositions, frequently encountered in agricultural equipment and machinery repairs.
The MIG ALS12 wire is ideal for repairing aluminium alloys with a silicon content of 7-12%. It’s particularly suitable for repairs involving foundry parts or unknown aluminium alloy compositions. Common applications include the repair of agricultural equipment, machinery, and other components requiring robust welding performance. It is commonly used with GMAW (GMAW) processes, often in pulsed mode, and with shielding gases like pure Argon or Argon mixed with Helium.
