This solid wire is specifically designed for Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) of stainless steels known for their stabilization with Niobium, such as 347, or those similar to 321 or 304L with controlled carbon content. It offers excellent resistance against intergranular corrosion, making it suitable for demanding applications. This wire conforms to various AWS, ISO, and AMS standards, ensuring consistent performance and reliability.

Ideal for welding a range of stainless steel grades, particularly those requiring high corrosion resistance. Commonly used in industries including aerospace (aeronautical applications), petrochemicals, and power generation. The wire is suited for applications demanding robust weld metal mechanical properties, with specified tensile and yield strengths. Proper shielding gas selection (Ar+0.5-5%CO2 or Ar+0.5-3%O2) and back shielding (Argon or Nitrogen) are recommended to prevent ‘back end’ rust and achieve optimal weld quality.
