Selectarc MIG 20/10M

This low carbon solid wire is specifically designed for Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) of stainless steels, including 316, 316L, and materials without molybdenum like 304 and 304L. It offers a wide range of applications, primarily in general construction, with a service temperature spanning from -120°C to +400°C. This wire’s chemical composition is carefully formulated to ensure optimal welding performance and mechanical properties. It’s crucial to consult the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for detailed information on fumes.

This MIG 20/10M wire is suitable for the fabrication of various stainless steel components including boiler making, piping systems, pressure vessels, power plant components, chemical and petrochemical equipment, refineries, and food industry applications. It’s recommended to utilize it with shielding gases such as Ar+0.5-5%CO2 (M12) or Ar+0.5-3%O2 (M13) at a flow rate of 15-20 l/min. For added protection against ‘back end’ rust, back shielding with Argon or Nitrogen gas, or a copper backing support is highly recommended. When selecting the wire, consider base materials like 316, 316L, 304, or 304L, depending on the specific application requirements.
