Selectarc Inox 310H

This high-temperature stainless steel electrode, conforming to AWS A5.4 : E310H, EN 1600 : E 25 20 H B 4 2 and ISO 3581-A : E 25 20 H B 4 2, is designed for welding heat-resistant alloys and centrifugally cast tubes. It features a basic coated austenitic stainless steel composition with 26%Cr, 21%Ni and increased carbon content. This electrode delivers regular and stable fusion, excellent slag removal, and a visually appealing weld bead, making it suitable for demanding applications up to 1100°C. Specifically, it’s commonly utilized in the petrochemical industry for welding furnaces, reformer and steam cracker tubes, and piping systems.

This electrode is primarily used for welding heat-resistant alloys and centrifugally cast tubes, particularly in high-temperature environments. Its main applications include welding furnaces, reformer tubes, steam cracker tubes, and various piping systems within the petrochemical industry. Welding parameters of 2.5×300, 3.2×350 or 4.0×350 mm, with currents of 70, 100 or 135A, respectively, are recommended, along with a redrying step at 250°C for 2 hours and maintaining an interpass temperature below 150°C.

Le 11 juin 2025 – Framatome annonce une prise de participation dans Selectarc à hauteur de 40%, aux côtés de son actionnaire majoritaire Viellard Migeon & Compagnie. 

Ce partenariat vise à sécuriser l’approvisionnement des métaux d’apport stratégiques, essentiels dans le processus de fabrication des composants du circuit primaire des réacteurs nucléaires français.
