Selectarc Inox 308Mo
This stainless steel electrode, designated as Selectarc Inox 308Mo, is a rutile-basic coated electrode designed for repairing dissimilar joints between construction steel and stainless steel. It features an austenitic-ferritic structure with a high delta ferrite content (approximately 25%) and demonstrates excellent crack resistance. The electrode produces soft, aesthetically pleasing welds with easy slag removal. It’s suitable for maintenance welding and offers good mechanical properties, including high tensile strength and ductility.
This electrode is primarily used for repairing welds between low alloy steels and mild steels, as well as between stainless steels. It’s particularly well-suited for maintenance welding applications where crack resistance is crucial. Optimal welding parameters (current, temperature) are detailed in the product specifications. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for fume information.
