Selectarc Inox 2509MoR
This is a Rutile coated electrode specifically designed for welding super-duplex stainless steels. It features an austenitic-ferritic microstructure (approximately 40% ferrite) and offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion in chloride-containing environments. It’s suitable for operation temperatures up to 250°C and is a versatile option for a range of applications requiring high strength and corrosion resistance. The electrode is manufactured to AWS A5.4 : E2594-16 ISO 3581-A : E 25 9 4 N L R 3 2 specifications.
This electrode is ideally suited for welding and cladding steels or castings with an austenitic-ferritic structure, frequently used in pumps, vessels, and piping systems exposed to chloride solutions. It’s particularly effective for applications requiring high strength alongside resistance to corrosion, such as welding impellers and other components. The recommended welding parameters (current, temperature, and arc length) are provided for optimal performance.
