Selectarc Flux UP Inox L

This agglomerated welding flux is specifically designed for stainless steels, offering excellent toughness at low temperatures (-196°C). It’s suitable for submerged arc welding (SAW) and surfacing, facilitating easy slag removal and contributing to a good weld bead appearance. The flux exhibits neutral metallurgical behavior and can be used with AC current. It’s compatible with a range of stainless steel wires, including 300 series, Duplex, and Super steels, making it a versatile choice for diverse applications.

This flux is ideal for demanding applications in offshore environments, nuclear plants, petrochemical industries, and for the fabrication of boiler and pressure vessels. It’s commonly used with ER308L, ER347, ER316L, ER318, ER316LMn, ER309L, ER2209, ER2594, ER385, ERNiCrMo-3 wires. The flux composition is well-suited for welding applications requiring high toughness and resistance to corrosion.
