Selectarc FLUX ALUNOX NC

ALUNOX NC is a non-corrosive brazing flux designed for soldering aluminum and low alloy aluminum alloys. It’s suitable for various brazing methods, including flame, induction, and resistance brazing, and is specifically formulated for solidus and liquidus temperatures of 630°C or higher. This flux doesn’t fume, offering a cleaner and safer application. It’s RoHS compliant, ensuring environmental standards are met.

ALUNOX NC is recommended for brazing aluminum alloys, commonly found in applications like radiators, heating elements, sandwich bottom pots, and deep fat fryers. The flux is versatile and can be applied using techniques such as brush application, hot rodding (dipping a warm rod into the flux), or supplementing a pre-fluxed area. It’s crucial to thoroughly clean and degrease the joint surface before application and to heat evenly to avoid overheating or insufficient flux coverage. Due to its non-corrosive nature, removal of flux residue is generally unnecessary.
