Selectarc FCW CO1

This tubular flux cored wire, designated Cobalt Grade 1, is a cobalt-based wire specifically designed for hardfacing applications. It offers exceptional resistance to metal-metal wear and abrasion, particularly in corrosive environments at high temperatures up to +800°C, coupled with moderate shock resistance. This wire is suitable for demanding applications requiring high-performance wear resistance.

This wire is primarily used for hardfacing applications on components subjected to heavy wear and corrosive conditions. Typical applications include steam valves, wire guides, rubber and plastic mixers, extrusion crews, and conveyors. It provides significant protection against metal-on-metal contact, abrasion, and chemical attack at elevated temperatures.
