Selectarc FCW 81 R

This Rutile Cored Wire is specifically designed for welding cold tough steels in all welding positions. It’s formulated with a nickel alloy to deliver high yield strength and excellent weldability. The wire offers a good bead appearance, minimizes spatter losses, facilitates easy slag removal, and provides exceptional mechanical properties even at low temperatures (-60°C), either as-welded or following post-weld heat treatment. It’s typically used with Ar/CO2 shielding gas as per ISO 14175 standards.

This product is ideal for welding applications involving cold tough steels, particularly in offshore environments where low-temperature performance is crucial. It’s suitable for FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding) processes and offers consistent performance across all welding positions.
