Selectarc FCW 307

This metal cored wire (FCW 307) is specifically designed for the gas shielded (Ar + CO2) arc welding of both austenitic stainless steels and manganese steels. It’s particularly suited for challenging welding applications where cracking and work hardening are prevalent. The wire provides a non-magnetic weld deposit, offering resistance to hot cracking and work hardening, making it ideal as a buffer layer before hardfacing grades sensitive to cracking, or for dissimilar joints between stainless steel and steel structures. It’s also well-suited for repair parts subjected to shocks and friction. The wire is designed for flat position welding, and the provided chemical composition ensures precise control over the weld metal’s properties.

The FCW 307 wire is primarily utilized in civil engineering projects, including road construction, rail maintenance, and fluvial works, alongside quarry and cement operations.
