Selectarc FCO 63TI

This self-shielded hardfacing wire, designated FCO 63TI, is a high chromium cast iron specifically designed for extreme abrasion and impact resistance. It’s manufactured as a tubular wire and offers a robust solution for hardfacing components subjected to severe wear conditions. The wire features an austenitic matrix enriched with chromium and titanium carbides, ensuring excellent resistance to friction, shock, and compression. It’s typically applied in 1, 2, or 3 layers, and requires grinding for machining.

This wire is primarily used for hardfacing excavating and crashing equipment, endless screw surfaces, mixer blades, pump bodies dealing with abrasive materials, excavator teeth, and concrete pumps. It is also suitable for applications involving ore crushing. The application process necessitates grinding after the hardfacing operation.
