Selectarc FCO 63

This high chromium cast iron cored wire is designed for self-shielded metal arc hardfacing applications. Specifically formulated for components subjected to extreme abrasive wear and moderate impact, it provides excellent resistance to friction, shock, and compression. The wire’s austenitic matrix, enriched with chromium carbides, delivers robust performance. It is intended for use with grinding machining techniques and is available in 1, 2, or 3 layers.

Ideal for hardfacing excavating and crashing equipment, endless screws, mixer blades, pump bodies for abrasive materials, excavator teeth, concrete pumps, and ore crushing equipment. This wire is particularly suited for applications demanding significant resistance to abrasion, impact, and high stresses.
