Selectarc BRAZARGENT 5034

BRAZARGENT 5034 is a cadmium-free silver alloy (34%) composed primarily of copper, zinc, silver and tin. This alloy is widely used for brazing applications due to its low melting point, excellent fluidity and good wetting properties. It allows for penetration in tight joints and closely fitting assemblies. Available in bare rods, coated rods (with AGFLUX or HP Flux), and TBW (Tubular Brazing Wire) formats, offering versatility in application. It’s designed for use with a wide range of metals including steels, copper alloys, stainless steels and nickel alloys, suitable for both flame and induction brazing processes. This alloy is suitable for brazing various metal combinations, particularly in demanding applications. It’s commonly found in industries such as HVAC, automotive, food and sanitary, electrical, household, and healthcare, where reliable joining of components is critical. The operating temperature range of the brazed joint is approximately -200°C to +200°C. Users can choose from different forms (bare, coated, or TBW) and application methods (flame or induction brazing) depending on their specific needs. The ‘Flux inside’ technology ensures precise metal/flux ratio control (12% +/- 2), improving application efficiency.
