Selectarc B7018S

This is a universal basic coated electrode designed for high-security welding of heavily stressed connections. It offers excellent low-temperature properties, down to -40°C, and is resistant to cold cracks. The electrode provides a stable arc and easy slag removal, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Key features include a 115% recovery rate and mechanical properties optimized for demanding welding conditions.

Ideal for welding frames, cases, supports, shipbuilding components, pressure vessels, and other structural steel applications where high strength and durability are required. Particularly suited for construction steels, tube steels, ship steels, and steels used in boilers and pressure vessels. It is designed for use with steels ranging from S185 to S355, as well as specific steel grades like A285, A414, A442, A515, and A516.
