Selectarc AGFLUX HP Paste

AGFLUX HP Paste is a high-performance brazing paste specifically formulated for use with high Silver containing alloys like CuPAg, as well as with Brazargent 15XX & 50XX. This paste offers excellent fluidity and capillary action, making it ideal for a wide temperature range (500-800°C). Its aggressive flux formulation is suitable for various brazing techniques including flames, induction brazing, and resistance brazing. It’s RoHS compliant and designed to minimize fume generation.

This paste is recommended for brazing Steel, Copper, Copper Alloys, and Nickel & Nickel alloys. It’s frequently used in applications within the electrical industry, vehicle construction, and copper tube installations. It is commonly used in conjunction with Phosbraz AG XXX and Brazargent ternary/quaternary alloys. Proper usage involves mechanically cleaning and degreasing the joint surface before applying the flux, heating slowly and evenly to the brazing temperature, and monitoring the flux’s clarity/opacity as a temperature guide. Post-braze flux residue removal is crucial, typically accomplished through hot water immersion, brushing, or abrasive cleaning methods to prevent corrosion.
