Selectarc 309HR

Selectarc 309HR is a high-efficiency synthetic stainless steel electrode designed for a variety of welding applications. It features a rutile-basic coating with a 24%Cr-13%Ni composition, ensuring excellent deposit characteristics and high recovery rates (160%). This electrode is particularly suitable for creating buffer layers before hardfacing operations, as well as joining dissimilar materials, such as stainless steels with ordinary steel. It is compliant with AWS A5.4, EN 1600, and ISO 3581-A standards.

This electrode is ideal for general-purpose welding of stainless steels, particularly in high-temperature applications. It’s frequently used for creating protective buffer layers before hardfacing and for joining dissimilar metals, offering high weld metal strength and ductility. It’s recommended for applications requiring a fast and efficient weld, along with excellent corrosion resistance.
