Selectarc UP 309LMo

This low carbon solid wire is specifically designed for submerged arc welding of stainless steels and related alloys. Formulated with a molybdenum content, it provides enhanced corrosion resistance against acids, particularly useful in demanding applications. The high ferrite content minimizes the risk of cracking during welding and allows for greater dilution of the weld metal.

Primarily utilized in boiler making, civil engineering projects, and maintenance/repair operations involving a range of steel types. Suitable for welding 309LMo, 309, 309L stainless steels, low alloy steels, ferritic stainless steels (430), and martensitic stainless steels (410). The suggested welding parameters are provided for guidance, but should be adjusted based on specific application requirements.
