Selectarc UP EB3

This welding wire, designated EB3R, is a solid alloy formulated with chromium and molybdenum, specifically designed for submerged arc welding of creep-resistant steels. It offers a chromium content of 1.0% and molybdenum of 0.90% for a service temperature resistance up to 600°C. The resulting weld bead exhibits a pleasing aesthetic. This wire is ideal for demanding applications within the petrochemical and chemical industries.

Primarily utilized for submerged arc welding of creep-resistant steels such as EN 10CrMo 9-10 A 182, 12CrMo 9-10 A 199, G-17CrMo 9-10 A 200, A 213, A 217, A 234, A 335, A 387 and WC9, WP22. Welding parameters, including current, voltage, stick-out, and speed, are recommended for optimal results and are adaptable to various arc welding modes (SAW, AC/=.).
