Selectarc TIG F55

This ER70S-2 TIG rod is designed for welding carbon and carbon-manganese steels with a tensile strength up to 510MPa. It is particularly suitable for root passes in piping systems and offers excellent performance even at low temperatures, down to -40°C. The rod features a copper coating for enhanced weld quality and is compatible with galvanised and electro-galvanised plates. It’s backed by a chemical composition and mechanical properties specification meeting AWS A5.18, ISO 636-A and W 46 4 2Ti standards. Ideal for root passes in piping systems, providing support when back-pass welding is not feasible. Also suitable for welding galvanized and electro-galvanized plates. Beneficial for applications requiring weld toughness at low temperatures (-40°C).
