Rod for GTAW welding of similar titanium alloys. This product, designated TA6V4, is primarily utilized in the aerospace industry. It offers a specific chemical composition (minimum 0.12% C, 5.50% N, etc.) and mechanical properties (minimum R0.2 = – MPa, minimum Rm = 900 MPa, etc.) designed for use in GTAW welding applications. This titanium alloy rod (TA6V4) is specifically intended for GTAW welding applications, predominantly in the aerospace industry due to its strength and corrosion resistance. It’s suitable for welding similar titanium alloys. Precise flow rates of shielding gas (Ar) are recommended during welding – 6-12 l/min for the primary shielding gas and 3-6 l/min for back shielding.
