Selectarc TIG 20/10S

This is a low carbon and increased Silicon solid rod designed for GTAW (TIG) welding of stainless steels, specifically 304, 304L, 347, and 321. Stabilised with Niobium or Titanium, it offers excellent performance in applications requiring a wide temperature range, from -120°C to +350°C. Available in spool format for automated orbital TIG welding, this rod is suitable for various applications including boiler making and piping systems. The composition ensures good weldability and mechanical properties, meeting the requirements for general stainless steel applications.

This product is ideal for TIG welding of stainless steels in demanding applications such as boiler manufacturing, piping systems, and general fabrication. It’s specifically suited for automated orbital welding due to its spool packaging and designed for service temperatures ranging from -120°C to +350°C. The use of argon or nitrogen shielding gas, combined with a copper backing support, helps to prevent ‘back end’ rust phenomena during welding.
