Selectarc TIG NI60

This solid rod is specifically designed for GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) of ‘Monel’ alloy (alloy 400) and related copper-nickel alloys. It’s engineered for demanding applications in chemical, petrochemical, and marine environments, including seawater and offshore operations. The rod offers excellent resistance against corrosion and is suitable for assembling steels with copper-nickel or copper-copper nickel alloys. It conforms to AWS A5.14 and ISO 18274 standards.

Ideal for welding components within chemical, petrochemical, shipbuilding, and desalination facilities. Particularly suited for environments exposed to seawater and offshore conditions, requiring high corrosion resistance. Commonly used for assembling various steel and copper-nickel alloy components. Welding parameters (shielding gas flow rates) are provided for optimal results.
