Selectarc TIG NI276
This nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy rod (TIG NI276) is designed for GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) of corrosion-resistant alloys, particularly those similar to C-276 and other Ni-Cr-Mo alloys, as well as special stainless steels. It exhibits exceptional resistance in environments containing sulphurous acids, highly concentrated chlorides, and oxidizing solutions like FeCl and CuCl. This makes it ideal for demanding applications requiring high resistance to corrosion and chemical attack.
This electrode is commonly used in the chemical industry, for the fabrication of piping systems, and for manufacturing equipment involved in de-pollution processes. Due to its composition, it’s suitable for welding components exposed to aggressive chemical environments. Precise welding parameters, including gas flow rates and current settings, are crucial for optimal weld quality and performance.
