Selectarc TIG CUMN13
This is a solid rod specifically designed for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) of Copper-Aluminium alloys. It’s suitable for surfacing steel and cast iron, as well as creating cavitation-resistant overlayers. The alloy demonstrates high wear and corrosion resistance, particularly against marine and seawater environments. It’s commonly used in demanding applications such as shipbuilding, chemical processing plants, and the creation of durable surfacing layers for components exposed to seawater.
This TIG wire is primarily used in the GTAW process for a variety of applications requiring high corrosion and wear resistance. Specifically, it is suitable for: Surfacing steel and cast iron components; Creating cavitation-resistant coatings; Applications within the shipbuilding industry; Chemical processing plants; Surface treatments for parts exposed to seawater; Exchanger fabrication in petrochemical and electrical plants.
